- Why it’s still trending: VT launched Reedle Shot 100 in Korea in October 2023. Daiso sell-outs and Olive Young attention followed in late 2023–early 2024. Glowpick already had the 100 as #1 pore essence in the first half of 2024. 2026 is continuation: Ulta in the US from July 2025, a Glowpick H1 2026 pore-essence award, and Vogue trends pages. It is not a 2026 invention.
- Best for: Uneven texture or pores, if the goal is helping the next steps absorb — hedged by Made My Seoul, and aligned with Glowpick’s pore-essence slot. Not a promise that pores vanish.
- Think twice if: The barrier is damaged, skin is post-procedure, or this is a first spicule product on very sensitive skin. Start with Reedle Shot 50. Do not stack 100 with 300 or 700.

WHAT IT IS
Reedle Shot 100 (also Cica Reedle Shot 100, 리들샷 100) is a 50ml essence / 0-step booster. Glowpick and FN listed it at 32,000원 per 50ml in 2024. The brand positions marine-sponge spicules, or “Cica Reedle,” as at-home “microneedling in a bottle.” That is a marketing analogy. Allure-quoted dermatologists describe temporary micro-exfoliation and say spicules cannot reach in-office needle depth.
YesStyle’s directions: after cleansing, as a 0-step; tingling described as normal; the 100 can be daily; do not stack it with 300 or 700.
The line is a ladder. Mild 50 is the beginner / sensitive step. 100 is the daily default (the brand states 95,000 ppm / 95,000 shots). 300 is about every three days. 700 is weekly or spot (often 30ml). This article is only about the 50ml 100.
A Daiso 2ml × 6 ampoule sold out quickly after the 2023 debut. That kit is a different blend and size, not this essence.

Vogue US and British Vogue 2026 trends pages grouped microneedle essences under “Glass Skin 2.0” and named this SKU. That label belongs to the trends pages. It does not appear on the Vogue UK first-person review.
STRENGTHS (ATTRIBUTED)
Made My Seoul’s first-person piece (verified 8 June 2026; Amazon affiliate) is the hedged version: next steps absorb faster, and texture looks smoother with a glow after consistent use, not overnight.
Vogue UK’s first-person review (date not shown; gift status undisclosed) used “glass skin-giving” and “micro-needling in a bottle.”
Glowpick’s 내돈내산 awards are the volume signal: #1 pore essence in H1 2024 and again in H1 2026, for the 100, not the 300 or 700.
DRAWBACKS (ATTRIBUTED)
Tingling, redness, and overuse show up across the opened sources. Skip it on a damaged barrier, after a procedure, or if skin is very sensitive; 50 is the sourced starting point.
Results are described as slow and inconsistent. One user quoted on Hwahae (26 March 2026) said they stopped after scratching at night. That page may sit close to brand material, so it is one anecdote.
South Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has been watching the wider spicule category for stinging and breakouts. That is a category watch, not a finding against this VT SKU.
Opened sources also flag an exposed pump.
MIXED OPINIONS
The ladder is a split: 50 versus 100 versus 300 versus 700, and the instruction not to stack 100 with 300 or 700.
Pace is the other split. Named testers who like it talk about consistent use. That same slowness is a drawback when results do not show.
Glowpick’s H1 2026 award and the 17 August 2026 live category rank (#3) measure different windows. Both can be true.
ALTERNATIVES
Reedle Shot 50 (same line). For sensitive skin or a first spicule product. The 100 is the daily default, not the sensitive-skin step.
Innisfree Retinol Green Tea PDRN Ampoule. #2 in the same Glowpick H1 2026 pore-minimising essence list. A sourced alternative in that awards table, not a spicule analogue.
